The Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (CVMSDC) will host its inaugural Small Business Summit on Dec. 1, 2025, at TIAA Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Themed “Accessible Development: Advancing Your Potential,” the two-day summit will offer peer-driven learning, networking and growth opportunities for small business owners throughout the region.
With generous support from title sponsors TIAA and Fluor, the 2025 Small Business Summit will feature a dual-track format that empowers attendees to tailor their access and experience. Workshops, panels and presentations will focus on artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, customer service and business financing. Whether focused on scaling operations, leveraging technology, or strengthening financial strategies, participants will find practical content rooted in real-world challenges and solutions. Day 2 of the summit will conclude with an Open Business Connections networking session to foster dialogue between small businesses and corporations.
Dominique Milton, President & CEO of CVMSDC, said: “This Summit is about more than inspiration—it’s about access to proven strategies, powerful networks, and actionable tools that help small businesses move forward. We’re proud to create a space where small business owners—certified or not—can connect, learn, and leave with momentum.” SBS25 workshops will center on the lived experiences of small business owners, offering insights into procurement, innovation and sustainable growth. The event is open to all small business owners who are ready to take bold steps toward development and success.
