Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis Returns To His Roots

In a spirit of reverence and admiration, esteemed leaders and community members gathered for an afternoon of celebration following a banquet dedicated to recognizing the remarkable achievements of Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, Brigadier General James Gorham, and Mrs. Arcina Dixon. To that end, the Black history honored at this event inspires! The Daily Drum Media Group announced scholarships for six high school students. These youth will study, beginning in Fall 2024, at Fayetteville State University, North Carolina Central University, Campbell University, University of Virginia, and East Carolina University.
